Being a first-time buyer, Suzanne Davis wanted to make sure her first home was the right one – so it was an easy decision buying at Barratt Northampton’s St. Peter’s Mede in Peterborough.
Having friends and family in Peterborough, Suzanne was keen to stay in the area, but had firm ideas on what she wanted.

Suzanne is an operations manager for a telecommunications company, and needs convenient commuting for her work. “I have an office in Huntingdon, but I also work from 15 other sites across the Midlands and East Anglia – so the location here is perfect – the A1 nearby is ideal.”
Because she was a first-time buyer, Suzanne was able to take advantage of an attractive deal Barratt were offering.
“I was initially looking for a two-bedroom home, but the package meant I was able to afford a three-bedroom, three-storey property – I didn’t think in a million years that would happen.”
And when she has left work behind, Suzanne likes to enjoy the area. “Because of the location, you can be in Peterborough in minutes, or the countryside – it’s like a village lifestyle.”
