New Homes in Perth

New Homes in Perth

Situated in the heart of Scotland, the city of Perth is surrounded by countryside on the banks of Scotland’s longest river, the River Tay, 50 miles north of Edinburgh.

Once the capital of Scotland the city offers great shopping an impressive foodie scene and several cultural and historical attractions; making new homes in Perth a great option.

Things to see and do

As a city rich in history, there are several attractions to enjoy.

The unusual broach spire of St John’s Kirk of Perth dominates the city and its most ancient building situated at the centre of the old Royal Burgh.

Culture fans will enjoy trips to Perth Museum and Art Gallery which tells the story of Perth, and showcases a variety of artefacts such as prehistoric rocks and metalwork from the Bronze Age.

Those looking for entertainment will find a diverse programme of events at Perth Concert Hall. The new building showcases a mixture of music, dance, comedy, film and children’s events.

Scone Palace is another key attraction of the area. The family home of the Earls of Mansfield, it was the ancient crowning location of Scottish Kings such as Macbeth, Robert the Bruce and Charles II.

Another attraction is the Inveralmond Brewery in Perthshire. As one of Scotland’s leading breweries, you can see the brewing process in action, and try a sample.

When evening falls, you’ll find just as much to do in Perth. There’s a great choice of restaurants and places to eat out as well as traditional taverns, sophisticated bars, or one of the city’s nightclubs for you to enjoy.
