Evenings and weekends

Here is a list of some of our favourite things to do on this idyllic Island:-

Beaches
The Isle of Wight has 13 award winning beaches, including three blue flag winners. In the summer the island is perfect for relaxing and topping up the tan.

Festivals
There are a number of festivals held on the Island in the summer months.  These include the well known Isle of Wight Festival held over 3 days in June (welcoming roughly 50,000 people per year) and Bestival which is regarded as the ‘hippy’ event of the year and other events such as the Garlic festival in August.

Carisbrooke Castle
Famously the place where King Charles I was imprisoned. The castle has survived for more than 800 years, including seeing off the Spanish Armada.

Robin Hill
