Essentials on your doorstep

Help us care for the local wildlife...

Free Kent Wildlife Trust family membership is offered to all purchasers at The Orchards.

A great way to meet your neighbours and join us creating caring communities, places you'll love to live.

Don't forget your home at The Orchards will also be surrounded by informal open spaces, a beautiful tree-lined boulevard feature and retained beech trees. There is also a historic World War II pill box on site.

What's more, a post office, library, coffee shop, Waitrose supermarket and Allington Primary school are located within a mile.

Efficient, modern design

The homes at The Orchards are environmentally sound, sustainable and can save you money.

Our homes ensure high levels of insulation, quality workmanship with a selection of new materials and construction techniques used to ensure the lowest ecological impact rating of A to C with A having the lowest impact. Our homes will be fitted with energy efficient white goods, low energy lighting and solar access; where main living areas have been arranged to face south to make maximum use of passive solar gains for heating.

Being green is part of who we are, that's why our homes will be set within a mature surrounding with existing trees and hedges retained to create buffer zones and green open spaces. Numerous biodiversity boosts are added such as bat and bird boxes as well as hibernacula and logs for invertebrates.

A great home can be more than just a place to live. It can be built for a better future.

The build so far

Construction for our 98 private homes began in July last year.

There will be a mixture of three, four and five-bedroom homes, inspired by classic Kent architecture with a blend of brick, render, tile and weatherboarding to create flowing yet harmonious street scenes.

Completion of The Orchards is predicted to be Spring 2018.

Build work is progressing well with the Sales Centre and Show Homes open and available to view. Already enticing street scenes are taking shape.
