Help to Buy the home you want

Make your money go further with Help to Buy. First time buyers or existing homeowners can buy a new home with just a 5% deposit and a 20% equity loan – available on all new builds in England under £600,000. Easily find homes within your price range using our handy Help to Buy calculator.

Adjust the slider to the amount of deposit you have available. This calculator assumes that the minimum allowable deposit on a ‘with Help to Buy’ mortgage is 5% and the maximum allowable deposit is 30%. This calculator also assumes that the minimum deposit for a ‘without Help to Buy’ mortgage is 15%.

Mortgage interest rates are set by mortgage providers and will depend on a number of factors such as your deposit value, the value of the property and your financial circumstances. As a guide, as of September 2013 most mortgage rates are between 3% and 6%. This calculator works on the basis of a capital and interest repayment mortgage, with interest calculated monthly.

[?]

Adjust the slider to the amount you might expect to be able to repay each month on your mortgage. The results will include your other settings, including your mortgage amount, length of the mortgage term and interest rate. Note that this amount does not include the interest repayable to the Government on your Help to Buy equity loan from year 5 onwards.

Efficient, modern design

Overall, on this phase 215 units are being constructed, and we are constructing 79 of these units, from a mixture of  2,3 and 4 bedroom homes in apartment, terrace, semi-detached and detached forms. Longford Park is a consortium development which will total approximately 1100 homes, an area for a new school, a village centre, football pitches and sports pavilion. The proposed house types are of a modern design, and energy efficient. The elevation treatments will use a mixture of brickwork and render with car parking options to include on plot, off private drives and small courtyards.

The build so far

Construction on this development started at the end of October 2013 with the sales centre launching early December 2013. The show homes will open at a later date during spring 2014.
