Help to Buy the home you want

Make your money go further with Help to Buy. First time buyers or existing homeowners can buy a new home with just a 5% deposit and a 20% equity loan – available on all new builds in England under £600,000. Easily find homes within your price range using our handy Help to Buy calculator.

Adjust the slider to the amount of deposit you have available. This calculator assumes that the minimum allowable deposit on a ‘with Help to Buy’ mortgage is 5% and the maximum allowable deposit is 30%. This calculator also assumes that the minimum deposit for a ‘without Help to Buy’ mortgage is 15%.

Mortgage interest rates are set by mortgage providers and will depend on a number of factors such as your deposit value, the value of the property and your financial circumstances. As a guide, as of September 2013 most mortgage rates are between 3% and 6%. This calculator works on the basis of a capital and interest repayment mortgage, with interest calculated monthly.

[?]

Adjust the slider to the amount you might expect to be able to repay each month on your mortgage. The results will include your other settings, including your mortgage amount, length of the mortgage term and interest rate. Note that this amount does not include the interest repayable to the Government on your Help to Buy equity loan from year 5 onwards.

Essentials on your doorstep

Ideally located for your family, the village has day nurseries and a C of E primary school. The nearest high school as well as a girl’s boarding school is easily reachable via public transport.

  • A post office and convenience store are within the village.
  • You will find a Sainsbury’s supermarket just a few minutes drive away.
  • The Flyover Farm Shop has fresh and locally grown produce.

Efficient, modern design

We are building Longford Park as part of a consortium development with Taylor Wimpey and Bovis, bringing a total of 1,100 new homes to the area as well as a new school, a village centre, football pitches and a sports pavilion. With our first phase of homes now sold out we have started on our second phase offering terrace, semi-detached and detached style homes.

We use the most advanced insulation, quality workmanship and the best-rated boilers meaning our homes will keep you warm and save you money. Your bills will be less than those in an upgraded Victorian home*.

For more information on our energy efficient homes, click here.

The build so far

Construction on phase one of the development started at the end of October 2013 with the sales centre opening in December of the same year followed by our three beautiful show homes in April last year. We started building our second phase of homes earlier this year and we anticipate that we will complete building our homes here by summer 2016.
