Calderglen Country Park is the biggest outdoor attraction in East Kilbride, although Stewartfield Loch is hugely popular with joggers, dog-walkers and families. With only a mile of countryside separating East Kilbride from its bigger neighbour to the north, you couldn't really be closer to Glasgow without actually living in it.
