Meet the team

A fantastic location

Calderglen Country Park is the biggest outdoor attraction in East Kilbride, although Stewartfield Loch is hugely popular with joggers, dog-walkers and families. A mile west from here is the National Museum of Rural Life, while the east brings you to the sprawling new Playsport complex, offering everything from a PGA golf coaching centre to a nine-hole course inspired by some of the UK's most famous Open Championship courses.

With only a mile of countryside separating East Kilbride from its bigger neighbour to the north, you couldn't really be closer to Glasgow without actually living in it. Several main roads connect Scotland's biggest city and its largest town, while East Kilbride's two train stations offer regular rail services to and from Glasgow Central. Travelling further afield is equally straightforward, with modern trunk roads linking East Kilbride to the nearby M77 and M74 motorways. Such is its size that East Kilbride can require public transport to navigate from one district to another, so comprehensive bus routes pass through every suburb.

Live the life
