Buying a new home in Bournemouth will allow you to enjoy beautiful beaches, a lively town and plenty to see and do.

Beach life

Enjoying a micro-climate and some of the warmest sea temperatures in the county, Bournemouth has 7 miles of sand from Hengistbury Head to Poole Harbour.

Bournemouth’s sandy stretches are easily reached from the cliff top where there is plenty of parking. Either take one of the paths or try the Victorian cliff lifts.

Some beaches are open for dog walking such as Fisherman’s Walk. Equipment hire is also available on many beaches such as deck chairs and parasols.

Bournemouth also offers a number of family attractions such as the Ocenarium, Adventure Wonderland, Bournemouth Gardens mini golf and the Russell Cotes Museum.

The town hosts several exciting events and festivals throughout the year including Bournemouth Wheels Festival, Bournemouth Air Festival and Bournemouth Arts by the Sea Festival.

Shopping in Bournemouth

Shoppers can rest assured that there are plenty of options for a little retail therapy. Castlepoint Shopping Park is situated just 3 miles from the town centre and here you’ll find popular high street stores.

The town centre is pedestrianised and offers department stores, high street favourites and a selection of independent shops.

The suburbs of Boscombe, Westbourne and Southbourne are good for markets and boutique shops.
