Essentials on your doorstep

Situated only one mile from Chorley City Centre and set in almost 400 acres of landscaped beauty Buckshaw Village provides: A market square and a village street which currently features a village store, beauty shop, hair salon and an NHS pharmacy. There is a brand new community centre, astroturf, grass pitches and a games area, perfect for kids to enjoy.

Efficient, modern design

We deliver more than just buildings- we deliver developments that create a true sense of place providing all the things you need to turn a house into a home. At Barratt we also use modern materials and building techniques to deliver energy efficient homes which reduce running costs and help the environment.

At The Avenue we have used a mixture of blue cladding, red facing brick and ivory render with white windows and doors on selected plots and some with black windows and doors giving a distinctive look which differs from the other phases at Buckshaw VIllage.

The build so far

The Avenue at Buckshaw Village is the last and final phase of Buckshaw and will boast 82 units of which 24 have now sold and a range of one, two and three bed family homes. Build started in late 2012 with the first completions due in June 2013. We have sold 28 homes to date, and estimated build completion for the development in late 2016.

Live the life

Chorley is famous for its markets, which date back to 1498 - the most popular market day in the Lancashire town is Tuesday. There are two main areas which make up Chorley Markets; the famous Flat Iron (sometimes known locally as the 'Cattle Market') and Chorley Covered Market, which is located in the heart of the town.
