Help to Buy the home you want

Make your money go further with Help to Buy. First time buyers or existing homeowners can buy a new home with just a 5% deposit and a 20% equity loan – available on all new builds in England under £600,000. Easily find homes within your price range using our handy Help to Buy calculator.

Adjust the slider to the amount of deposit you have available. This calculator assumes that the minimum allowable deposit on a ‘with Help to Buy’ mortgage is 5% and the maximum allowable deposit is 30%. This calculator also assumes that the minimum deposit for a ‘without Help to Buy’ mortgage is 15%.

Mortgage interest rates are set by mortgage providers and will depend on a number of factors such as your deposit value, the value of the property and your financial circumstances. As a guide, as of September 2013 most mortgage rates are between 3% and 6%. This calculator works on the basis of a capital and interest repayment mortgage, with interest calculated monthly.

[?]

Adjust the slider to the amount you might expect to be able to repay each month on your mortgage. The results will include your other settings, including your mortgage amount, length of the mortgage term and interest rate. Note that this amount does not include the interest repayable to the Government on your Help to Buy equity loan from year 5 onwards.

Essentials on your doorstep

If you want to take your education to the next level and are thinking about university, Horizon could be the ideal location for you. Get a foot on the property ladder while also being close to the University of Wolverhampton. If you don’t own a car the university is still easily accessible – Horizon is a 15 minute walk away from the City Campus and you can get a shuttle bus during term time.

Efficient, modern design

Horizon comprises one and two bedroom apartments of a bespoke design. These designs are the result of extensive market research into what people want in a new home. Horizon is the second of two blocks to be built, the first ‘Fusion’ has been successfully completed and fully occupied. In developing the concept we consulted designers, architects and technical advisers. These new homes blend elegantly styled exteriors with up-to-the minute interior layouts for comfortable modern day living.

A palette of materials has been chosen that blends the development with the retained old Low Level Station, and yet reinforces the modern design of the new build.

The build so far

The first phase of this development was Fusion.  We are now in the second phase, Horizon, which brings 104 brand new apartments to the area. The first legal completions were in June 2012 and we anticipate to be at the development until Summer 2015.
