Help to Buy the home you want

Make your money go further with Help to Buy. First time buyers or existing homeowners can buy a new home with just a 5% deposit and a 20% equity loan – available on all new builds in England under £600,000. Easily find homes within your price range using our handy Help to Buy calculator.

Adjust the slider to the amount of deposit you have available. This calculator assumes that the minimum allowable deposit on a ‘with Help to Buy’ mortgage is 5% and the maximum allowable deposit is 30%. This calculator also assumes that the minimum deposit for a ‘without Help to Buy’ mortgage is 15%.

Mortgage interest rates are set by mortgage providers and will depend on a number of factors such as your deposit value, the value of the property and your financial circumstances. As a guide, as of September 2013 most mortgage rates are between 3% and 6%. This calculator works on the basis of a capital and interest repayment mortgage, with interest calculated monthly.

[?]

Adjust the slider to the amount you might expect to be able to repay each month on your mortgage. The results will include your other settings, including your mortgage amount, length of the mortgage term and interest rate. Note that this amount does not include the interest repayable to the Government on your Help to Buy equity loan from year 5 onwards.

Efficient, modern design

Horizon comprises of one and two bedroom apartments of a bespoke, modern design. This is the second of two blocks which have been built, the first being Fusion which has now been successfully completed and is fully occupied. In developing the concept we consulted designers, architects and technical advisers as well as carrying out extensive market research in to what people want in a new home. The materials chosen blend the development with the retained Low Level Station, yet reinforces the modern design of new build.

The build so far

This is the second phase, with the first being Fusion. Horizon has 104 new apartments ideal for first time buyers, downsizers and investors. Construction at Horizon started in June 2011 and is now build complete with all remaining apartments ready to move in to. The first legal completions took place in June 2012 and we anticipate to remain at the development until the early part of 2015.
