Help to Buy the home you want

Make your money go further with Help to Buy. First time buyers or existing homeowners can buy a new home with just a 5% deposit and a 20% equity loan – available on all new builds in England under £600,000. Easily find homes within your price range using our handy Help to Buy calculator.

Adjust the slider to the amount of deposit you have available. This calculator assumes that the minimum allowable deposit on a ‘with Help to Buy’ mortgage is 5% and the maximum allowable deposit is 30%. This calculator also assumes that the minimum deposit for a ‘without Help to Buy’ mortgage is 15%.

Mortgage interest rates are set by mortgage providers and will depend on a number of factors such as your deposit value, the value of the property and your financial circumstances. As a guide, as of September 2013 most mortgage rates are between 3% and 6%. This calculator works on the basis of a capital and interest repayment mortgage, with interest calculated monthly.

[?]

Adjust the slider to the amount you might expect to be able to repay each month on your mortgage. The results will include your other settings, including your mortgage amount, length of the mortgage term and interest rate. Note that this amount does not include the interest repayable to the Government on your Help to Buy equity loan from year 5 onwards.

Essentials on your doorstep

Residents at Meadows Keep can enjoy a host of convenient amenities right on their doorstep. There’s a selection of good schools and nurseries and small supermarket all within close proximity. On the development itself, there will be a community hall, various play areas, a full size football pitch, junior sports pitch and three retail units which could include a newsagent, off-licence or florists.

Efficient, modern design

Our energy-efficient, spacious homes are designed to suit the needs of modern living.  The development also benefits from locally sourced materials with attractive facing brickwork, roof tiles, weather boarding, coloured render and flint/stone panels to complement the existing landscape.

The development blends residential property with recreation areas and leisure facilities, and includes a new relief road to support the development and surrounding areas.

The build so far

Meadows Keep is the second phase of the Blake’s Mead development due to complete in July 2013 with a total of 128 homes. To keep up with customers ever changing expectations, lifestyles and preferences we have recently undertaken a re-plan. The homes being built are from Barratt’s new ‘Classic Collection’ which incorporates more light into the homes, using for example, floor to ceiling windows.
