Payment of purchase costs for the property you purchase from us
1.1 All offers by us to pay the costs associated with moving are limited to the following costs only:
1.1.1 stamp duty;
1.1.2 payment of reasonable legal fees; and
1.1.3 payment of reasonable moving costs
1.2 Payment of these costs will be up to a maximum value of 5% of the value of the purchase price of the property.
3.3 Payment of your legal fees is conditional upon you using a nominated Barratt Homes solicitor. Any promoted Barratt Homes offer is subject to contract and status. Part exchange terms & conditions
1.1 Part exchange deals are only available on selected plots and developments. Part exchange will only be available on selected plots and where the plot being purchased is at least 30% more expensive than the home which you are trading in.
1.2 Part exchange is only available up to a maximum value of £250,000 for your old property.
1.3 Valuations for part exchange will be based upon the price which an independent agent believes your home would be likely to achieve in the current market as opposed to an advertised sale price.
1.4 We will appoint two independent estate agents to value your home at no cost to you. Any part exchange value offered by us will be based on an average of these two valuations.
1.5 We reserve the right to refuse a part exchange. All valuations and decisions are final.
1.6 If you have already incurred costs (e.g. HIP, estate agents or legal fees) at the time of negotiating a part exchange Barratt Homes will not reimburse these costs.
