What is there to see and do in Bexhill-on-Sea?

As a coastal town, Bexhill-on-Sea centres around the beach and promenade, where you’ll find the modernist De La Warr Pavilion, a popular arts centre that hosts exhibitions, workshops and live events throughout the year.

Bexhill-on-Sea has excellent train links to neighbouring towns and cities, ideal if you’re commuting to Hastings, Eastbourne or London. The journey to Bexhill from Hastings takes 15 minutes by car or 10 minutes by train, while the journey from Eastbourne takes around 30 minutes by car or 15 minutes by train. Brighton is one hour away by either car or train, while Dover is around one hour 25 minutes away by car.

If you’re travelling to London, the car journey takes around two hours, while the direct train to London Victoria takes one hour 50 minutes. For international travel, London Gatwick Airport is just over one hour away by car via the A27 and A23. You can also get there by public transport, with the train journey taking one hour 20 minutes changing once at Hampden Park.
