Storrington is a hidden gem of a village situated at the midpoint of the South Downs Way. For family days out, the South Downs national park is home to countless amenities and potential days out. This 1,627km2 area is home to chalk hills and wooded areas including the RSPB Pulborough Brooks as well as Parham House & Gardens, only 2 miles from the high street. This area is home to many birds and natural wildlife providing the perfect spot for relaxing walks. If you want to explore a little further out, you can visit Worthing and Horsham as the nearest of the larger surrounding towns.

The village itself offers all the main amenities you’d expect from a quaint location such as pubs, restaurants, cafes, banks and a Post Office. For sports and leisure facilities, the recreation ground provides cricket and football pitches (where non-league Storrington F.C. play) alongside the leisure centre. Conveniently, Brighton and Hove just a 30-minute drive away, residents can enjoy the best of the seaside city and all its sights.

Getting to Storrington

The A283 road runs directly through the village offering access to most other nearby towns and villages with ease including Steyning in the east and Pulborough in the west. From Brighton, the journey to Storrington takes 45 minutes by either car while the journey from Worthing takes 30 minutes by car or 45 minutes by bus. Storrington is also one hour away from Portsmouth by car, and two hours from London although you can get to the capital by train in one hour 40 minutes, with one change at the local village Pulborough.

London Gatwick airport is only a 40-minute drive away with bus and train services available to use.
