Barratt London Site Managers commended at NHBC Health and Safety awards

Recognising commitment to excellent health and safety practice on site.

Barratt London is proud to announce three Site Managers have been honoured for their outstanding dedication to health and safety, as NHBC announced the winners of the first round of its annual Health and Safety Awards today.

This award recognises Russell Bond (Aldgate Place), Sury Patel (Hendon Waterside) and Tony Shopland’s (Enderby Wharf) commitment to excellent health and safety practice on site. They are three of 61 site managers from across the UK house building industry who have been commended in the first round of judging, for their management of Barratt London developments.

Tom Kitchen, NHBC Health and Safety Operations Manager, said: “Congratulations to Russell, Sury and Tony on achieving this NHBC Health and Safety Commended Award. To win an award at this level clearly shows commitment to preserving an excellent health and safety record and ups the ante for other site managers. We wish them the very best of luck in the next stage of the competition.”

All three will now go on to compete for the Highly Commended, Runner up and National Award at the NHBC’s gala event on 8 July 2016.
