Blackfriars Circus unveil their next phase, Delphini

,

Delphini, the latest phase at Barratt London’s Blackfriars Circus development, offers a total of 57 studios, one, two and three-bedroom apartments at the junction overlooking St George’s Circus. The area is being transformed into a tree-lined boulevard with an abundance of shops, cafes, restaurants and bars.

Acclaimed Sterling Prize architects Maccreanor Lavington, have designed an impressive atrium allowing natural light to pour in through the core of the building. Most homes at Blackfriars Circus have a balcony or access to a winter garden, and Delphini will have a private residents’ fitness suite located within the ground floor.

Thanks to a multi-million pound regeneration project, the area is seeing vast improvements to becoming a lively and appealing neighbourhood. Formerly home to Royal Circus and more recently the Surrey Theatre – the name Delphini is an acknowledgment to the manager of the circus who put on extravagant performances. Situated at the southern end of Blackfriars Road and adjacent to St George’s Circus, residents will be able to immerse themselves in the exciting local cultural scene. From art galleries, theatres, historic pubs and cafes, to artisan food markets and some of London’s best restaurants, options are endless.

Blackfriars Circus, Southwark, offers 336 new one, two and three-bedroom homes and penthouses. A collection of five buildings varying in height from five to 26-storeys, the development provides space for proposed new shops, cafes and offices. The buildings are set around two landscaped public open spaces that will create new pedestrian routes through to Library Street, opening up the site for the first time in generations.

The tallest building at Blackfriars Circus, Conquest Tower, will house a 24-hour concierge service on the ground floor and a residents’ function room available for hire on the 27th floor. A residents’ fitness suite will be included and underground parking is available for selected properties at a separate cost.

Blackfriars Circus is exceptionally well-connected for public transport, nearby Underground and Rail stations include Elephant & Castle, Lambeth North, Southwark and Waterloo. Residents will also have convenient access to London’s new cycle superhighway, ensuring safer travel for cyclists around London.
