Blackfriars Circus unveils eagerly anticipated brick work

Barratt London has unveiled the eagerly anticipated exterior façade of Blackfriars Circus.

Designed by Maccreanor & Lavington Architects, over 50 different types of brick in 11 different colours have been used to create a streetscape that reflects the historical context of the site, while ensuring the contemporary building will mature gracefully, becoming richer and looking even better over time.

Pam Reardon, sales director, Barratt London, comments: “Blackfriars Circus is a wonderful example of how an inspired design, using traditional materials in a new way, can contribute to an exciting new streetscape. We are delighted with the response we’ve had from the community that local residents are able to see the building revealed for the first time and we look forward to welcoming prospective buyers to the new Show Apartment.

Situated at the southern end of Blackfriars Road Blackfriars Circus is the perfect Zone 1 location, well connected for easy access around central London. Nearby Underground and Rail stations include Elephant & Castle, Lambeth North, Southwark and Waterloo.

Thanks to a multi-million pound regeneration project, Blackfriars Road is being transformed into a tree-lined boulevard with an array of new shops, cafés and leisure facilities. You can also stroll to foodie heaven Borough Market, to satisfy your culinary desires.
