Catford is tipped as a “hotspot” by Metro Moves

Catford Green is featured in the Metro’s spotlight on “refreshing” Catford.

Metro Moves property correspondent, Andrea Dean, features Catford Green in her focus of the week – Catford. The area of Catford offers “good value with great transport links” says Dean. She goes on to say this “previously underrated area is tipped as a hotspot”.

Property prices in Catford, which “is refreshingly down-to-earth”, are still relatively affordable for London, particularly at Barratt London’s Catford Green development “where one-bedroom flats currently start at £312,000, and London Help to Buy is available”. The one, two and three-bedroom homes are “set in landscaped gardens with pathways opening on to an adjacent park, Ladywell Fields. Most have a balcony or terrace, and some overlook the park or have views over the River Ravensbourne”.

The development is well connected to central London as there are “two stations and frequent trains to Waterloo East, Charing Cross, London Bridge, Blackfriars and St Pancras International” running adjacent. Dean goes on to explain residents may reap further benefits as “proposals to extend the Bakerloo line to Catford Bridge are currently being considered”.
