Edgware Green is ‘the wild card’ when looking to bed down in north London.
This month, First Time Buyer Magazine reveals how first-time buyer, Ivy Jenkins found her one-bedroom home in north London. Edgware Green made the shortlist, meeting all Ivy’s requirements for outdoor space, car parking and good transport links.
Ivy told First Time Buyer magazine that although she has enjoyed living with a friend over the past two years, she was ready to become a home owner. She often travels north of London for work, and therefore wanted to be “north of the river, close to good transport links”. Edgware Green was an obvious choice, as it “is ideally located for travelling north of and into London”. Edgware and Stanmore underground stations are within walking distance, where “central London can be reached in 35 minutes, while the M1, for speedy travel north is just a few minutes’ drive”.
Ivy’s next requirement was for outdoor space – “either a garden or a balcony, where I can read, eat or have a glass of wine after a hard day’s work”. Not only will Edgware Green be “a bustling new neighbourhood with tree-lined paths, water features and landscaped spaces” but each “beautifully finished home has private outdoor space as well as access to private parking”.
Edgware Green offers residents the perfect combination of contemporary style with sensitive landscaping. The development is made up of 937 homes, from one, two and three-bedroom apartments, and has recently released new three and four-bedroom houses. First Time Buyer magazine and their house hunter, Ivy, were impressed with the one-bedroom apartments, with Ivy stating: “Thee homes are beautiful. The interiors are so bright and modern… [they] are really well sized, with plenty of space for having people over”.
