Barratt London’s Hendon Waterside development hosts a London Help to Buy open day, helping potential home buyers understand how the new Government initiative can help them.
Hendon Waterside hosted the open day to help customers understand how the new Government-backed London Help to Buy scheme for London could make buying at Hendon Waterside even more affordable. The open day drew 55 people, who were able to ask new build mortgage advisers and solicitors questions about the new scheme, and have the sales team help them pick their dream home.
Under the new scheme, you will need just a 5% deposit, while the Government contributes up to a 40% Equity Loan – which is interest-free for five years. You will then only need a 55% mortgage for the remaining value of the property. With London Help to Buy, it’s possible to purchase a two-bedroom apartment at Hendon Waterside with a deposit of just £23,250.
The Vista is the latest phase and is available to move into this summer. The Vista is a collection of two-bedroom apartments with panoramic views across the Welsh Harp Reservoir. This is an impressive regeneration scheme which, once complete, will offer residents a private fitness suite, concierge service and landscaped courtyard gardens. Parking is also available on selected plots.
