Imperial College London ranked fourth, and can also be reached from Aldgate underground station in 37 minutes. Other universities that can be reached in less than 40 minutes by public transport include City of London University (18 minutes), University College London (21 minutes), and Kings College (23 minutes).

The Metro recently covered the top ten universities in the UK, stating: “London is the only city that’s home to four universities in the [world’s] top 50”. Based on the QS World University Rankings University College London (UCL) ranked seventh, followed by Imperial College London in eight place – both within easy reach of Aldgate Place.

Many of London’s renowned art schools, colleges and universities are also close by, including the London College of Fashion and Guildhall School of Music & Drama just a mile away. The Central Saint Martin’s campus, University of Greenwich and Slade School of Fine Art are also a short journey away on the underground from Aldgate station.
