Article 25 completes Haiti school development

Charity completes vital five-year project to rebuild lives in Hinche and Malte Peralte.

Article 25 is a UK-based charity that provides vital infrastructure and housing to under-developed countries. The charity has announced that the construction work on its latest school and sanitation project in Central Haiti is now complete.

This work in the villages of Hinche and Malte Peralte marks the five-year anniversary of the devastating 7.0 magnitude earthquake that took the lives of over 300,000 people on 12 January 2010. With the support of sponsors such as Barratt London, Article 25 has helped rebuild essential infrastructure in Haiti including new school classrooms, sanitation facilities and the installation of a borehole pump to provide clean water.

Article 25 raise vital funds in order to work on building projects in some of the world’s most vulnerable communities. Recently they held their annual ‘10x10’ fundraising auction, sponsored by Barratt London, and raised £119,500, which will be used to support essential healthcare building projects in the developing world.
