Homes & Property calls Blackfriars Circus "up-and-coming" in London’s regeneration areas.
London Evening Standard property correspondent, David Spittles, features Barratt London’s Blackfriars Circus development in his focus on new homes in “up-and-coming areas of the city”.
Blackfriars Circus will be the latest addition of “swish new flats” to Blackfriars Road, which “forms the main section of the new cycle superhighway to King’s Cross”, says Spittles. The development overlooks a listed obelisk built in 1771 and is a short walk away from the famous Southbank, which is home to festivals, theatres, cinemas and restaurants. Spittles states: “Part of the area’s charm is its urban residential mix – smart riverside flats, handsome Victorian terraces, charitable housing, well-cared for council estates, warehouse lofts, and live-work home for creatives”.
Blackfriars Circus will be made up of five buildings around a central courtyard which will be open to all. The tower will offer residents fantastic views across the London skyline, and can be enjoyed from the rooftop garden. The development will include 336 apartments and penthouses, around 35,000 sq ft of office space and 16,500 sq ft of retail space. Additionally, residents will benefit from a number of on-site facilities including car parking, cycle storage, a 24-hour concierge and an on-site fitness suite.
