The September issue of Building Magazine featured 14 new recruits, including Barratt London’s Fergus Ellis, who are entering their first year of employment in the property and construction industry.
Industry magazine, Building, met the latest intake of construction professionals for last week's cover story. The feature sought to find out from them what their perception of the industry was from outside, and why they’ve chosen to pursue a career in property development and construction.
Fergus Ellis, Development Assistant in the land and development team at Barratt London, was one newcomer selected for the feature. Fergus spoke passionately about his chosen career path: "I've always had a passion for property. It's the ability to influence an environment and leave a lasting legacy on the places we live in. The perception is almost that they're 20 years behind everything, but my experience so far is that things are changing rapidly."
Selected as the 'Class of 2014', Building Magazine will be tracking the progress of these young professionals, in an effort to discover their views and perception of their chosen industry.
