Renaissance residents can enjoy the return of the popular pop-up food market this summer.
Last year, the team behind popular Dalston Yard’s pop-up street-food market ‘Street Feast’ expanded south of the river, setting up ‘Model Market’ in an abandoned 1950s market in Lewisham. This year, Model Market is back with another excellent line-up of street food, drinks and music.
Residents at Renaissance will have Model Market on their door step, located just a seven-minute walk away on Lewisham High Street. From 17 April to 3 October, locals can enjoy a range of street food including Yum Bun, Smokestak, and Bill or Beak, then wash it down sampling one of the market’s five bars, including this year’s latest edition of a record shop/wine bar - Winyl.
Residents at Renaissance already enjoy a range of local restaurants, cafés and shops, and can now add exploring Model Market, open every Friday and Saturday from 17:00–01:00.
Renaissance is a landmark regeneration scheme in the heart of Lewisham, which has brought nearly 800 new homes to the area. The development features a state-of-the-art leisure centre, 24-hour concierge and landscaped communal gardens. All homes have a private balcony or terrace, with homes on higher floors enjoying panoramic views across London’s ever changing skyline.
