Barratt London’s Fulham Riverside development wins “highly commended” at London’s “Gold Standard” awards.
Fulham Riverside, set to become an enviable destination on the River Thames, won “highly commended” for Best Large Development at the annual London Evening Standard’s New Homes Awards 2015 yesterday.
The New Homes Awards showcases homes of outstanding quality and excellence in housebuilding. The awards are judged by a panel of property experts and London Evening Standard readers with recent buying experience. Avid and enthusiastic readers of the Evening Standard apply for the chance to judge the awards, and three are chosen per category, which ensure the results are authentic and genuine. The judges look at homes and developments that reflect or surpass the current best practice in the housebuilding market. From the quality of design, to the innovation and architecture, the awards are divided into 13 categories and cover the housing spectrum.
The awards discover “clever design, creative conversions and the intelligent use of space” said Evening Standard property correspondent, David Spittles. The category for Best Large Development looks at “large-scale schemes that might be a new district or neighbourhood in their own right, including amenities, even a workplace, as well as a place to live”.
Mia Nicolaou, Sales Manager for Barratt London, commented: “I am thrilled Fulham Riverside has been recognised as Best Large Development at the Evening Standard New Homes. We have sold over 140 homes, easily making Fulham Riverside an enviable destination with a collection of strikingly different buildings, each with their own identity and character with riverfront views, a fitness suite and a café. Our goal is to provide all of our customers with an unbeatable experience, and Barratt London is very proud to be acknowledged”.
Fulham Riverside is a selection of one, two, three-bedroom apartments, with some available to move into this summer. All apartments have private outdoor space and have views across the Thames, podium gardens or both. Barratt London used some of the UK’s finest planning, design, engineering and construction experts to transform a derelict riverside site into one of London’s most appealing residential locations. Fulham Riverside has partnered with Sainsbury’s, building a new flagship store on-site. Located on one of London's few remaining stretches of undeveloped riverfront, Fulham Riverside will be among the Capital's most coveted addresses.
