The Building Excellence Awards look at what’s needed to build excellent developments in London. From technical innovation to sustainability and high performance, the awards credit developments that produce new and creative solutions to both the building and the surrounding area.

The category for Best Small New Housing Development looks at the response to any limitations from the surrounding area, the appearance, internal planning, the layout and landscaping. Attention to safety, security and accessibility to the development is also considered.

Stephen Thompson, Operations Director for Barratt London, commented: “I am thrilled that Renaissance won Best Small New Housing Development at the LABC Building Excellence Awards 2015.”
