Launching Enderby Wharf

Barratt London launches Enderby Wharf, a new riverside development steeped in history in the Royal Borough of Greenwich

Enderby Wharf was the latest Barratt London development to launch to market yesterday. The riverside development is in Greenwich SE10, an that is evoloving at a rapid pace thanks to extensive regeneration.

On completion Enderby Wharf will be made up of 770 homes each with a balcony or terrace. The development is a mix of studio, one, two, three and four-bedroom apartments and duplexes stretching across 200 metres of river front with uninterupted, west-facing views towards Canary Wharf and the City.

The development is on the site of 'Enderby's Wharf'. Samuel Enderby was an ambitious maritime entrepreneur and explorer who founded a shipping company in Greenwich in the 18th century. As a celebration of the area’s history, Enderby House, a Grade II listed building built in the 1830s, will be restored and will remain a central focus of the development, blending modern 21st century London living with Greenwich’s fishing and maritime legacy.

Gerald Thomas, sales director at Barratt London, comments, “Enderby Wharf epitomises modern London living. The development captures both the culture and history of Greenwich, whilst equally reflecting London’s modern style. With its enviable location, transport links to the economic hub Canary Wharf, and host of amenities, we are expecting a strong interest from both owner occupiers and investors. We look forward to Enderby Wharf playing its part in the broader Greenwich regeneration.”

Enderby Wharf offers owners and investors an exceptional opportunity given its desirable riverside location, high-quality design and having all the amenities that modern Londoners could wish for right on the doorstep. As an area undergoing regeneration, Greenwich will see the opening of new shops, leisure facilities and transport links. The development offers extensive leisure facilities of its own including a resident-only gym. There is also planning permission granted for an International Cruise Liner Terminal and Hotel.

The development is perfectly located for the busy Londoner who desires access to unique boutiques, rustic pubs, bustling historic markets, the high-flying life of the City with its various bars and eateries, and the West End for entertainment. Greenwich Market, popular for its market stalls and fantastic food, is located moments away, as are the National Maritime museum and Cutty Sark, both of which are famous attractions, and the majestic 183-acre Greenwich Park. Located ‘across the water’ are Canary Wharf and the City of London with their cosmopolitan feel, where you can enjoy fine-dining and cocktails after a day in the City.

Each apartment enjoys thoughtfully arranged floor plans, designed to adapt to the varying demands of contemporary lifestyles. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide generous light, enhance the interior space and frame the enviable waterfront views which many of the apartments will enjoy. In addition, residents will benefit from private landscaped gardens and an enhanced public realm along the river, together with our exclusive 5 year warranty, a car club and management of the development by our in house agents BRAM.
