Homes & Property discovers Enderby Wharf – a “key new development” in Greenwich. 

Offering river views from almost every direction, London Evening Standard’s property correspondent Ruth Bloomfield explores Barratt London’s Enderby Wharf development in the sought-after Greenwich location.

Enderby Wharf’s “riverside flats right by the O2” have a number of “plus-points” says Bloomfield. “Developers are finally pouring money into this brilliant location” comments Bloomfield, “which offers river views from almost every direction”.

The development has fantastic transport links and will benefit from the new Crossrail station in 2018. Residents can be at Canary Wharf in one stop from the North Greenwich tube station, while London Bridge is just over 10 minutes away and Bond Street is less than 20 minutes away. Residents can also use the river bus services from North Greenwich Pier and getting to the London City airport is a short taxi ride away.

Another pull for Enderby Wharf are the “landscaped gardens and direct access to the Thames Path” says Bloomfield. A stroll in Greenwich Park and the chance to wander around the local market is only 15 minutes away from Enderby Wharf, and a new “cruise ship terminal is being built on a nine-acre site between the peninsula and ‘old’ Greenwich” – London’s first international cruise liner.

Residents can also enjoy the river views while dining out thanks to the “good restaurants and bars [that] are opening on the peninsula” says Bloomfield. The famous Jamie Oliver’s restaurant is located right by the river, or residents can cross the river and enjoy the steakhouse staple, Gaucho, in Canary Wharf.

With over 200 metres of river frontage, Enderby Wharf offers one-bedroom suites, one, two, three and four-bedroom apartments and penthouses, each with floor-to-ceiling windows and private outdoor space. Living at Enderby Wharf will also offer a private residents' fitness suite, 24-hour concierge, underground parking (to selected apartments at additional cost), a crèche, landscaped gardens and 200 metres of rejuvenated Thames path, open to everyone.
