The Nine Elms underground station is well underway and will benefit residents at Barratt London’s Nine Elms Point development.
Residents at Barratt London’s Nine Elms Point will benefit from Transport for London’s (TFL) Northern Line extension with the Nine Elms underground station in prime position on their doorstep. Monthly updates for local residents and stakeholders affected by the changes taking place have been released by TFL, in addition to the Community Liaison Groups. The meetings are to ensure noise monitoring and mitigation are set in place for those who live nearby.
The Northern Line extension is due for completion in 2020, will see the creation of 24,000 new jobs and two new stations - Battersea and Nine Elms. Vauxhall station is also less than a five minute walk from the development, where residents at Nine Elms Point can access the shopping and sites of Oxford Circus in under ten minutes.
Set within one of the largest regeneration schemes in the Capital’s history, Nine Elms Point will feature 645 stylish one-bedroom suites, one, two, three and four-bedroom apartments and penthouses. Due for completion in 2019, the first residents are expected to be moving in as early as summer 2016.
The development will also sit above the new flagship Sainsbury’s superstore, which is not only convenient for local residents, but will also generate more than 300 new jobs.
