Truro is only a 20 minute train journey away from Falmouth, or 30 minutes if you’re travelling by car depending on traffic. Penzance and Newquay are both a 50 minute drive away from the town.
From Plymouth, the journey to Falmouth takes around one hour 35 minutes by car or one hour 50 minutes by train, changing once in Truro. If you’re going on holiday, Newquay Airport is a 50 minute drive away, while there are regular ferry services to France and Spain departing from Plymouth.
