Community Fund donation: NSPCC

Community Fund

NSPCC’s Childline base in Aberdeen received a donation from the Barratt Homes Community Fund as part of its pledge to donate £1,000 each month in the North of Scotland. The local charity will be using its £1,000 boost to help fund the training of new volunteer counsellors, ultimately providing up to 200-hours of vital support for vulnerable children.

Matthew Connelly, Community Fundraising Manager, said: “We provide a crucial service to vulnerable children every day and this kind donation from Barratt Homes will go towards the important training that our volunteers undergo so that they can provide the best support to those who need it.”
