Evenings and weekends
There are many shops, bars and places to eat in Keynsham, including a Boots, Greggs and Coffee #1. There’s also a large Tesco Superstore and new Waitrose built in 2014, so you’ll never be far from somewhere to pick up your weekly groceries.
If it’s a different kind of shopping you’re after, you can be sure to find everything you are looking for at Bristol’s award winning Cabot Circus, housing over 100 well known shops and restaurants.
Just 2 miles away is the riverside town of Saltford, perfect for visiting by bike in the sunshine. With a great cycle route from start to finish it’s become a well-known favourite for families and friends, especially during the summer. Once you reach the finish line you will be greeted with a selection of pubs and restaurants along the waterfront, great to recharge with a spot of lunch and a cold beverage.
Keynsham Music Festival takes place every July in Memorial Park, and has become a well-loved local event over the years. Offering a week of music organised by the local community, from dance to jazz, you’ll find something for everyone.
If you want to venture out a little further, there is plenty do in the City Centre for all ages. If you like animals why not visit Bristol Zoo? It’s the 5th oldest zoo in the world and is home to lions, gorillas and penguins.
