There’s plenty of local attractions in Peterborough to explore including the beautiful Cathedral that is located on a square in the centre of the city surrounded by independent shops, cafes and restaurants.
The city centre also has two shopping centres; The Queensgate and The Rivergate along with a large John Lewis.
Cambridge or Stamford would make idyllic days out for you to enjoy with family and friends. Explore the cobbled streets of Stamford and their independent boutique shops, or take in one of the canal walks in Cambridge. You can even take a punt down the River Cam that flows through Cambridge itself.
If you are into history and stately homes, Burghley House would make for an historical adventure for you and the kids where you can enjoy their grounds and beautiful gardens. They hold events throughout the year including the Badminton Horse Trials, Halloween themed events and a Christmas fair in December.
To further entertain the children there is a number of country parks, indoor soft play parks, a bowling alley and swimming pool all located in and around Peterborough centre.
For the sports' enthusiast in the family there are many local sports teams to get involved with including Peterborough United Football Club, Peterborough Rugby Union Football Club and Peterborough City Rowing Club.
There are also a number of golf courses nearby to enjoy and proposed sports pitches to be located within the development itself.
