Evenings and weekends
Food and drink
The New Inn is the perfect place to become your new local. With two well stocked bars serving a selection of real ales, wines and whiskey and a restaurant serving a lunchtime roast and an evening A La Carte menu. For a taste of India The Fox is the place for you. Right in the centre of the Fremington community, The Fox offers you a relaxed environment where you can enjoy a curry and a pint, or if you would prefer, you can take advantage of their takeaway service.
The Tarka Trail
Only moments from the development, The Tarka Trail itself is 180 miles long and takes it's name from Tarka the otter in the famous Henry Williamson's book Tarka the Otter. With a 30 mile old railway line and now traffic free cycle route between Braunton and Meeth, the trail is perfect for dog walkers, cyclists, fishing and crabbing.
History and heritage
For the historian in you, Fremington Quay was once a bustling port, importing and exporting goods from all around the world. The Heritage Centre has a treasure-trove of information and offers a fantastic, interactive journey of local history covering why and how Fremington Quay has changed over the years and telling the stories from local villagers and workers.
