Metro explores the ‘get-on-the-river fun’ happening around Landmark Place this month.
Alison Tyler of the Metro explores the range of activities on offer “down by the riverside” this month, as “the Thames comes into its own with a festival in its honour, Totally Thames”. She says if “you’re inspired by the idea of life on the river… there are plenty of new developments to choose from” – taking a closer look at Barratt London’s Landmark Place.
Landmark Place residents can enjoy “a month-long celebration of art, music, foreshore treasure hunts and get-on-the-river fun” right outside their doorstep. Tyler explains that “Seen from the river, London takes on a totally different perspective… with a silhouette that’s rarely spotted from any other position in the city”. Landmark Place’s prime location allows riverside calm and city life to combine, right on the shores of the Thames.
Landmark Place “is a development of 165 one-bedroom suites, one, two and three-bedroom apartments and penthouses, virtually next door to the Tower of London”. Tyler marvels that the “glass-clad building features apartments with recessed balconies” and bay windows with built in seating “so that residents can make the most of the view”.
Not only can residents enjoy the view and amenities such as “a gym, swimming pool, lounge, business suite, cinema room an concierge”, but they “can even get on the water as Tower Pier is outside your front door”, where the River Bus provides easy connections to the West End.
