The Brackens has all the essential amenities including a doctors, dentist and pharmacy all within close proximity. You also have a Waitrose superstore just a short drive away and both primary and secondary schools are on the doorstep.

Efficient, modern design

At the entrance of The Brackens development you will see 2 lovely mature trees. As you explore more of the area you will find a green open park with a playground for the children to play in and a number of trees planted around it to encourage local birds to nest. The homes themselves are built to stay warmer inside with the use of insulation that has high levels of thermal efficiency. The walls in our homes in comparison to houses built in the 1980s are twice as energy efficient and an incredible six times more energy efficient than a house built in the 1960s.

The build so far

The Brackens has seen a successful start and now we have released our second phase of homes. We are offering a beautiful mix of 3, 4 and 5 bed homes, great for those looking to take the next step on the property ladder and those searching for a bigger home to accommodate their growing family.

Evenings and weekends

Shopping

Just a short walk away from your home you'll find Brackley high street which offers a wide selection of shops, cafes and restaurants. For something a bit more special why not plan a visit to Bicester Shopping Village. Just a 30 minute drive away, you can enjoy top brands at outlet prices, some of the designers include Ugg, Ralph Lauren and Dior. Slightly further afield is the Centre MK in Milton Keynes. This indoor centre has a huge choice of stores and has a large outdoor market that is open 5 days a week for you to explore.

Things to do nearby

If you are looking for things to do nearby then why not head over to Milton Keynes or Northampton and take in a production at one of their theatres. Both offer a wide variety of performances including pantomimes, ballet, children's stories, musicals and stand up comedy. There are also a number of museums and art galleries to explore and within a 40 minute drive you could take the whole family to Gulliver's Land.

Activities

There are a number of sporting activities to get involved with in and around Brackley. You can try a Skydive at Hinton Skydiving Centre or gather a team and take part in the Delta Force Paintballing located in Milton Keynes. Milton Keynes is also home to Xscape, where you can enjoy a multitude of sports including snowboarding and rock climbing. If you are looking for more quiet activities to take part in closer to home then St. James Lake and Steane Park which provide picturesque scenery for some lovely countryside walks.

Live the life

Brackley is located south east of Northamptonshire, and historically a market town, known well known for its lace and wool trade. While much of the traditional architecture is prevalent throughout the town, it isn't short of the modern conveniences.

  • Brackley offers a wide selection of cafes, restaurants and pubs. There is a Waitrose and a huge Tesco superstore to grab your weekly shopping
  • A weekly market every Friday on the piazza outside the town hall
  • There is also a number of sport teams to join in Brackley for both the kids and the adults. If participating isn't for you, grab a seat at St James Park, to watch Brackley Town Football Club.
