1. The Lindt gold bunny hunt at Hampton Court Palace

The Lindt gold bunny hunt is back this Easter running from 2-18 April, 10:00 am- 6:00 pm every day. Under 5’s go free and will not need an entry ticket. The hunt is designed for children aged 4-12 years old with their families and will take approximately 1 hour 30 minutes to complete. Use the trail map to explore the palace gardens and hunt down the Lindt gold bunny statues hiding there. Along the way, children will learn about the fascinating people who lived and worked at Hampton Court Palace. With each bunny found, a new tale will be revealed. At the end of the trail, children can collect a Lindt gold bunny reward. Booking in advance is advised.

2. The Lindt gold bunny hunt at Kensington Palace

Kensington Gardens, London W8 4PX

02, 03, 06 – 10, 13 – 17 April 2022

The Lindt gold bunny hunt is also taking place at Kensington Palace. The hunt is designed for children aged 4-12 years old. In the same fashion as the hunt at Hampton Court Palace, children will follow the trail map to find gold Lindt bunnies hidden along the way. Each bunny will tell a tale of fascinating characters who lived and worked at the palace. Upon completing the trail, a gold Lindt bunny can be redeemed. Booking in advance is advised.

3. Dear Zoo at ZSL London Zoo

2 – 18 April 2022

From 2-18 April, step inside the much-loved classic storybook ‘Dear Zoo’ by Rod Campbell. Embark on an interactive activity trail, enjoy lively story-time sessions, and learn all about the fantastic animals the zoo has to offer. Entry to the ‘Dear Zoo’ exhibition is included in the price of a zoo ticket.

4. Lost and found at the London Transport Museum

As part of this year’s Easter activities, London Transport Museum invites you to enter the weird and wonderful world of London’s Transport property office. Since the office opened in 1933, it has become home to 15 million objects, from everyday items to much more unusual ones. This Easter, visitors will be able to follow a trail around the museum to discover lost items from London’s tubes, trains, and buses. On selected dates, children’s authors Emily Rand and Kate Wilkinson will be at the museum reading from their books inspired by the lost items.

5. Yoshi’s easter egg hunt at Kidzania

Nintendo has teamed up with Kidzania in London to celebrate the launch of Yoshi’s crafted world on Nintendo Switch by putting on an exclusive Easter egg hunt during the school holidays. Prizes can be won by those who complete the hunt. Tickets are £27 per child and £16 per adult. Booking is advised.

6. Easter egg hunt at Morden Hall Park

Morden Hall Park belonging to the National Trust in southwest London, are hosting an Easter egg Hunt trail on the 6th and 18th of April from 10 am- 4 pm. Tickets for the trail will be £3 per child and this includes a map, pencil, and chocolate egg upon completion.

7. Easter Adventure at Marble Hill House

Richmond Rd, Twickenham TW1 2NL

15 – 18 April 2022

Marble Hill House is running an adventure quest this Easter where you can explore the grounds to hunt for clues and discover traditional Easter games like the egg and spoon race and egg rolling. Locate the Easter eggs, and you will win a reward of a chocolate treat and certificate at the end. It’s the perfect way to get out and explore history this Easter.

8. Dino Kingdom at Gunnersbury Park

Take a journey through time into the land of dinosaurs and be prepared to be wowed. Dino Kingdom brings you roaring and moving dinosaurs with state-of-the-art 3D and AR technology that you can get up close to! With fairground rides, food stalls, and plenty of family fun, this is not one to be missed this Easter! Dino Kingdom will be open from 10 am -7 pm daily, with the last entry at 4 pm. Child tickets (ages 3-15) cost £12 off-peak and £15 peak. Children under three years old go free!

9. Easter trail at Chelsea Physic Garden

The Chelsea Physic Garden will hold an Easter rail around their beautiful gardens on Good Friday, Easter Sunday, and Easter Monday. The trail will follow their four-acre gardens, where you will learn about the world of plants. At the end, a prize will be received by all trail entries.

10. The Very hungry caterpillar trail at Kew Gardens

Kew, Richmond, London, TW9 3AE

Based on the much-loved story by Eric Carle, ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’, take part in a beautiful trail through Kew Gardens this Easter. Make your way through sculptures whilst learning fascinating facts about nature and plants. The Easter Trail is included in the admission price to Kew Gardens and will run all day.

11. Easter Chocolate making at the National Army Museum

Royal Hospital Road, Chelsea, London SW3 4HT

6-7 April 2022

Visit the National Army Museum this Easter to learn about the history of chocolate! This family-friendly workshop will allow you to try your hand at shaping and decorating delicious chocolate treats to take home. The sessions will run from 11am- 12:30pm and 2pm – 3:30pm. The workshop costs £5 per child and is recommended for children aged 6+.
