How do I clean and maintain my wardrobes?

Follow these tips on how to clean and maintain your fitted wardrobes:

• All coloured glass and mirror doors can be cleaned with any proprietary glass cleaner.
• Cleaning products with an anti-static additive may reduce the period between cleaning.
• Metal door frames and tracks should be cleaned with a dry or damp cloth only.
• Wood effect panels can be cleaned with a dry or damp cloth only.
• Moving parts, bottom wheels and top guides do not need lubricating.
• Care should be taken not to impede the movement of sliding wardrobe doors, wire hangers in particular can damage the bottom wheels and in some circumstances cause the doors to derail.
• Abrasive cleaning products and polishes should not be used as this may damage certain finishes.

Any additional units purchased directly from BD Living will not be covered by your 2 year warranty.

All wardrobes supplied and fitted by us are covered by our 2 year warranty which commences from the date of installation of your wardrobes. The warranty covers defective wardrobes supplied by us and/or defective installation.

The warranty does not cover:

• wardrobes which are only supplied by us and have not been installed by us into your property;
• any damage caused by natural wear and tear, your negligent misuse of the wardrobes, wilful damage of the wardrobes by yourself or a third party, your failure to take care to regularly clean and maintain the wardrobes and/or any movement, removal or alteration to the wardrobes by yourself or a third party.
