Help to Buy Wales is changing

A brand-new home in Wales could be yours with just a 5% deposit. But from 1 April 2021 a lower price cap of £250,000 is being introduced that will restrict the value of the home you can buy, so act now before the scheme changes.

What is Help to Buy – Wales?

With Help to Buy – Wales, you could buy a brand-new home sooner than you think.

  • You only need a 5% deposit.
  • The Government lends you up to 20% of the value of the property.
  • The loan is interest-free for five years, making your dream home more affordable.
  • You then need to secure a 75% mortgage.

There are a range of competitive mortgage rates available with this scheme, so it’s worth comparing lenders to find the best deal. We can introduce you to a New Home Mortgage Adviser who’ll search the market to find you a great deal.
