Essentials on your doorstep
Oakfield Village is your first opportunity to move to this new community. A long-term vision that will create three distinct villages with:
- New primary schools, health and community centres
- New employment opportunities and sports facilities
- Working with the RSPB to bring 250 acres of wildlife-rich open space and even the chance of an allotment

Not to mention the schools, entertainment options and so much more that Aylesbury has to offer.
Efficient, modern design
At Kingsbrook we are working closely with the RSPB to give nature a home. This development is pioneering a 'nature friendly' approach to designing and creating new communities in a way that will enable nature to thrive. We are installing 'swift bricks', wildlife homes and hedgehog highways throughout the development as well as plenty of open spaces, wetlands areas and community orchards to help encourage nature to thrive.
During the construction process, the RSPB will be monitoring the progress of the wildlife community and the successes of this unique project will be shared to help determine new milestones for development planning across the UK.

The build so far
The build at Kingsbrook is moving along at pace with the Construction teams hard at work focusing on finishing the first village later on this year. All of the homes on Oakfield Village have been started and are at various stages of construction. With over 200 families moved in at Kingsbrook the community has started to take shape.
Finishing touches are being made to the first community building at Kingsbrook which will be made up of a community hall for local residents as well as purpose-built day nursery. Councillor Julie Ward visited the community building with Ian Sadler, Managing Director at BDW North Thames in December.
