Travelling from London King’s Cross, Darlington is just two hours 20 minutes away on the Virgin Trains East Coast service. The equivalent journey would take almost five hours by car. Darlington is 20 minutes away from Middlesbrough by car and 30 minutes by train, while the town can be reached in 50 minutes from Newcastle by car, or 30 minutes by train.
