Perth Transport links
For those travelling by road, the M90 motorway runs south from Perth to Edinburgh, while the A9 links the city to Stirling, Glasgow and Inverness. The A85 to Crianlarich and Crieff serves the city, while the A93 to Braemar and Blairgowrie is also a major road connected to Perth. Further options include the A94 to Coupar Angus and Forfar and the A90 to Dundee and Aberdeen.
If you’re travelling by rail, Perth railway station has regular services to Fife, Edinburgh Waverley, Dundee, Aberdeen and Glasgow Queen Street. There are also two direct trains to London every day. One is run by East Coast to King’s Cross, while the Caledonian Sleeper runs overnight to Euston.
The nearest major airport to Perth is Edinburgh or Aberdeen Airport. However, Dundee Airport (a 20 minute drive) offers flights to London City Airport.
