Newbury is well-connected by road and rail, with the M4 nearby and two train stations in the town itself. To get to Newbury from Swindon, the car journey takes around 40 minutes, while the journey from Reading takes just 20 minutes by train or 35 minutes by car. The drive from Oxford to Newbury takes 35 minutes depending on traffic, and the car journey from Southampton takes 40 minutes.
If you’re going to London, Paddington is just 50 minutes away from Newbury by train, while the car journey takes one hour 20 minutes via the M4. When you’re going on holiday, London Heathrow Airport is only 45 minutes away by car.
