New homes in Bonnybridge benefit from great transport links to GlasgowEdinburgh and Stirling, all while enjoying lovely Scottish countryside.

Places of interest

Bonnybridge is surrounded by places of natural beauty, including Palacerigg Country Park; a 300 hectare park with a variety of wildlife including roe deer. It’s also home to a number of rare breed animals such as Tamworth pigs, Guernsey goats and Eriskay ponies. Dollar Park is an area of gardens near Falkirk town centre, and Plean Park has 70 acres of woodland and parkland.

A well preserved section of the Antonine Wall can be found to the south east of Bonnybridge. The ruins, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, are the remains of a Roman Rough Castle Fort.

Other attractions in the local area include Falkirk Wheel; the world’s first rotating boatlift standing at a height of 35 metres. The site includes a visitor centre, boat trips, woodland walks and children’s play areas. World of Wings near Cumbernauld is home to the largest collection of birds of prey in Scotland.

For golfers, Bonnybridge Golf Club is a challenging 9 hole course through heathland.

In neighbouring Falkirk, the Farmers Market offers fresh produce on the first Friday of every month. The town also hosts its own Halloween Festival, with Halloween-inspired art and performances.
