The nearest train stations to the village are in Inverness and Carrbridge, while the village is served by local buses which can be useful for getting around.

There aren’t any schools in Moy itself, but the local primary which caters for the village is Strathdearn Primary in neighbouring Tomatin. At secondary level, the choices are Culloden Academy which is around 12 miles north, or Millburn Academy in Inverness a similar distance from Moy.
