The journey from Stirling is even closer, with a journey time of just 25 minutes.
There’s no train station in Maddiston, but Polmont station is only a 10-minute drive from the village. Falkirk is also nearby, only a 10-minute car journey away. If you’re travelling from London, the flight from Edinburgh Airport takes just one hour 10 minutes, while the train journey takes around four hours 45 minutes.
