Getting to Allington

Allington is located along the A20 to the west of Maidstone. A short 10 minute drive will get you to the village from the centre of Maidstone, or a 30 minute walk if you fancy some exercise.

Although there is no train station in the village, there are three in Maidstone. The journey from Maidstone West or Maidstone Barracks stations to Tonbridge takes around 30 minutes, while the journey to Strood in the opposite direction takes around 25 minutes. From Maidstone East, can take you to London Victoria or Charing Cross in just one hour.

When it’s time for a holiday, it's only 40 minutes by car to get to both Gatwick Airport and the Euro Tunnel in Folkestone from Allington. Dover is a 50 minute drive away, with regular ferry services to mainland Europe.
