Getting to Halstead
It’s easy to get to Halstead by car, with the journey from Braintree taking around 15 minutes, and the drive from Chelmsford taking 35 minutes. The journey from Ipswich takes around 40 minutes, while Cambridge is a 50-minute drive from the town.
Although there’s no train station in Halstead, rail services run from both Chelmsford and Witham. The train journey from London to Chelmsford takes just 35 minutes, while the car journey from the capital to Halstead takes around one hour 20 minutes depending on traffic.
