Getting to Winchester
If you’re commuting to work or visiting family and friends, there are good transport links by both road and rail from your new home in Winchester. The train station has regular services to London, Southampton and Portsmouth, while the M3 is close by.
Winchester is one hour 10 minutes away from London by train and one hour 30 minutes by car. The journey from Southampton takes just 15 minutes by train and 20 minutes by car, while the drive from Portsmouth takes 30 minutes, or 40 minutes by train.
When you’re going on holiday, the journey from Winchester to Southampton Airport takes just 15 minutes by car or 10 minutes by train, so your adventures abroad will get off to a quick and easy start.
